When I read that story for the first time I got so emotional, and then my mom walked in and she was like, what’s up with you, and I simply replied “Batman”. She was very confused.

DCU Red Hood custom from DCnU’s Red Hood + additional pics of all the DCU Robins
Customs: Red Hood, Batgirl
Repaint: Robin
Original Eaglemoss figurines: Red Robin, Nightwing
Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) custom figurine made from an Eaglemoss DCnU Babs Gordon chess piece
Also shown in the photoset: my Oracle custom made from Eaglemoss’ Buffy figurine, my Klarion custom made from Mattel’s Prince Charming figurine, my Damian Wayne repaint from Eaglemoss’ Robin chess piece and original Eaglemoss figurines of Red Robin, Cassandra Cain and Barbara Gordon as Batgirl.
DC forced Eaglemoss to produce their Wonder Girl/Cassie Sandsmark figurine in her DCnU identity (I refuse to call it just a costume change), and of course it came out horribly wrong plus the DCnU will never touch my precious collection of DC figurines so as soon as I got a copy of DCnU Cassie I customized her into her old persona.

Some more shots with my other Eaglemoss figs (NOT customs)

John Blake is a combination of the first 3 Robins?!? OMG. Jason’s backstory/parents, Tim’s detective skills at finding out about Bruce, Dick’s brand of heroism and his career as a policeman. All wrapped into one. Cool!
I don’t get why most of the fandom’s calling him Dick and wants him as Nightwing though because he’s so obviously a combination of the three and he should be Robin. He’s like the Robin to end all Robins.
(more on the movie later)
when Steph tells Tim she’s pregnant and he has this look on his face like “I FORGOT TO USE PROTECTION WHEN WE HELD HANDS”
TIM…..
This just brought a smile to my face.
Which quickly turned into :(
Steph. Tim. I love you. Come back. Where are you.
Bats is really working those hips.
I just got the first 4 issues of the digital-only Legends of the Dark Knight and I’m loving them. They’re so much better than 98% of the DCnU (and not only because they’re set in the DCU - although my heart skipped a beat when I saw Green Arrow, Peej and the others in their old costumes which also means their old personalities and backstories *sigh*).
Also the Robin in issue 3 is obviously pre-Kon’s death (sorry can’t remember which crisis it was) Tim Drake…any chance we might get some Oracle in this? Please DC, please. You have a whole ongoing with DCnU Batgirl. Throw us a bone.
We’re family. There is no one in the world I trust and respect more. No one.
oh……..no…………….
I miss you guys. I hope you’re having fun on Earth-DCU.

My current desktop, a little photoshopping goes a long way to make you feel that Scott Snyder’s excellent Batman is set in the DCU, because it is way too good for the DCnU. Snyder is way too good for the DCnU, Capullo is way too good for the DCnU.
DCnU’s Batman #5 glorious opening adapted to the DCU where it belongs - original art by Greg Capullo + some additional panels.
